  1. Hey Andrew, very informative article on whey protein. Actually I do train myself like 5 days a week at home, but I do not take any supplements. I do not know what they contain (despite what says on the label – I do not trust that). Maybe some day I would try the whey protein as you suggest just to try it and see if there is any difference in my performance when training. What is your opinion on creatine powder ?

  2. Great post on whey protein, lots of information that I was not aware of. It sounds very beneficial to me, but I do have some concerns. I am lactose intolerant and try to avoid dairy as much as possible. Can you clarify what you mean when you say that whey protein isolate is ” low in lactose” ? If I used this product would I still need to take a lactose tablet before taking the powder ?

  3. I’m not really into bodybuilding or weight lifting because I have tried to build muscle and enhance my stamina before, but it just doesn’t stay there after a couple of weeks. What I basically mean is that I could easily gain more muscle mass and loose my fat easily depending on how hectic my schedule is. I need a supplement that can maintain my hard earned muscle so that it stays there no matter how busy I am with my other errands. Your website gives me a good idea on how to do it.       Unfortunately if you are not consistent with weight lifting you won’t gain that much muscle and same with weight loss if your not consistent it will be very unlikely for you to lose a good amount of weight.   4. Hi Andrew, I love your article, it’s so informative. Plus, I am startled to know that the protein powders is made out of milk.

    I have a quick question for you — I just started working out again after an injury and almost year of rest and recovery. I am not working out as hard as I use to go — for two-three hours straight. My question is can I take whey protein even if I am doing low-intensity workouts for just 20 minutes or so ? If Yes which whey is going to be best for me Isolated, Concentrated or Hydrolyzed ?
