What Is Optimum Nutrition BCAA Capsules ?

Optimum Nutrition’s BCAA Capsules is made with a dominant balance of Branched Chain Amino Acids which are the building blocks of muscle mass and size. Each cap contains three key amino acids in every serving, these are L-Valine, L-Leucine and L-Isoleucine. BCAAs will be metabolized directly in the muscle and will improve nitrogen retention repairing/rebuilding your muscles as quick as possible. Furthermore, your body cannot make these amino acids from other compounds so the only way to get them is to take a BCAA supplement.

My Personal Opinion/Review Of Optimum Nutrition BCAA Capsules

Branched Chain Amino Acids is one of the most investigated supplements in the fitness industry and is also proven to be one of the most effective at reducing muscle breakdown/increasing the speed at which the muscle repairs itself. So I really wanted to find out if the research suggesting this was true or not, since taking the Optimum Nutrition BCAAs I have noticed my muscles recover a lot faster by being able to workout longer and do more reps/use heavier weights without optimum nutrition creatine capsules pillsfeeling any more fatigued or tired. Being on and off BCAAs you can definitely tell the difference straight away in how strong you are and I know that if you take this supplement too you will not be disappointed with the results it will bring you.

  1. This product sounds great. Branched chain amino acids do help heal your muscle faster after a workout. I used to use amino acids when I worked out, sadly I haven’t been to the gym in some time now. I was wondering how long would the shipping take once I placed my order? I plan on getting back into my routine and this is a must supplement for me.

  2. Couldn’t you get all the BCAAs you need from meat? Also I think there are a good amount of BCAAs in preworkout supplements. I just never felt the need to buy them separately.

    1. Yes a lot of meats contain BCAAs, but sometimes they won’t provide enough so taking BCAAs will ensure you are getting the optimum amount each day. With preworkout supplements most do contain some BCAAs, but no where near enough to be effective.

  3. Good info! I stopped using BCAAs for a while, but came back to it after improving my diet and feeling like I wasn’t recovering as well after exercise as I could be. I re-introduced BCAAs and immediately noticed a difference. Granted I was doing different kinds of exercises (more aerobic and flexibility work and less weight-training) I definitely experienced far fewer post-workout aches and pains.

This will be very helpful to anyone looking into BCAAs. Good job!

  4. I have never taken any BCAA’s before, but I have taken some pre-workout and some glutacore…totally different things I know. I have also tried a powder form of my daily vitamins and it was totally nasty lol, looking to get the pill form next.

All in all I will be looking forward to trying some BCAA’s in the near future, I want to make sure I am getting all the nutrients my body needs to make some gains and your review has saved me a whole bunch of time since I won’t have to do any research on which brand of BCAA’s are the best.

    1. It’s best to try and get most of your vitamins and minerals from whole foods. No supplement will help you make gains if you don’t eat the right foods.

  5. Hey Andrew I really liked your article here on BCAA’s and what they can do for you in the gym. I like to work out at least five days per week and I generally try to stay away from taking too many supplements as I get a little suspiscous about companies and what they put in their supplements.

But I do believe that a little supplementation is helpful. In your opinion, which supplement do you find to be more effective, BCAA’s or creatine post workout? I have had several friends say that they take creatine. I would be willing to try one or both based on your recommendation.

    1. Creatine should always be number one on your list of supplements to take and then BCAA’s will come in a close second. I would recommend you take both as they will greatly benefit your fitness goals.
